Creative local collaboration brightens the High Street

Collaborating with other local agencies and businesses enhances opportunities for improving the high street. The mural project exemplifies how impactful improvements can be achieved through teamwork. Wickford Together partnered with Wickford in Bloom to secure funding for their mural vision, receiving support from M The Willows (LCP Properties), Zap Arches, McDonald's Wickford Franchise, Wickford Together, and Wickford in Bloom. This collaboration allowed the artist to be appointed and the mural to be installed within two months. The chosen wall, previously a hotspot for graffiti and tags, now offers a vibrant welcome to high street visitors. New connections have been formed, and ideas for further collaborative projects have been discussed, leading to new partnerships, increased local awareness, and a desire to invest in the community.

If you as a local business has an idea for the high street please contact Rachel Voller Wickford Together BID Manager on 07369 252144 or email hello@wickfordtogether.co.uk
